2nd Annual Pamela Burke 5K

It's been 30 months since my Aunt Pam lost her battle with breast cancer. She was a 37 year BCPS teacher who was dedicated to her family, her friends and her school, Baltimore Highlands. She was selfless, even while she was going through Chemo. Her school decided that they would have a 5K walk to raise money for Breast Cancer as well as the schools reading program. Last year they raised over $17,000. I'm eager to hear how much was raised this year!

Mom spoke some kind words about her sister.

The Oriole Bird and Baltimore Highlands Bulldog helped us kick off the walk.
Zack cut the ribbon to start the walk. (The girl in the white shirt is my cousin Jill. She is 7 months pregnant, You can't even tell from the back)Spencer ate starburst and wondered around the track.
Ethan was on his own for most of the day and found some friends to play with. He told us his feet were tired.

Cute post Melissa....that was a neat day! And you're sweet to say you can't tell I'm pregnant from the back...trust me, if you could see my icky CALVES with my new gross veins all over them, you'd know I was pregnant from the back! :(
