New Carpet!

Ever since we moved in we talked about how the carpet needed to be replaced...That day has finally come for the upstairs! We called Empire and they came out and replaced both sets of stairs, the hallway and the "baby room" carpet. It looks SO much better. Now Tim says he's going to Pergo the main level himself...we'll see if and when that happens. Will this house ever be complete?

Our Baby Graduated!!!!

The last of our Generation has graduated HS! We are so proud of Matthew. He's had a not so easy life but he's doing his best to get through. We love him so much and wish him nothing but the best in the future!

This is for RIkki!

So Rikki has been bugging me to put some pregnancy pictures up. I will be honest and say we have not been very good about photographing my progress but I did have Tim take pictures of me when we got home from a wedding Friday Night, just so Rikki could see! I'll try to take them more often now that summer is FINALLY HERE!

Old Neighbors

I have always been a fan of neighbors. They are sometimes closer than family. You see each other every day, take care of each others kids and just have a great friendship. I learned this from my parents. When I was first born, we lived in a community called Wintergreen in Rosedale, MD. Our neighbors were John and Gerry Haberkam. They had a son, Brent and we all did everything together. Once we moved to Goldentree, my parents had Sarah and the Haberkams moved too and had another son, Shaun.
We rarely see the Haberkams anymore even though both of their sons went to Salisbury Univeristy while I was there and we didn't even know it, so when the opportunity came for us to visit with them to celebrate Shauns College Graduation we jumped. It's always nice to visit with old neighbors. It was as if no time had gone by!

Michelle's Bachelorette Party

If you're reading this blog you obviously know I do not go out "partying". No matter what the reason...so since I am a matron of honor in Michelle's wedding I felt the pressure. Luckily Michelle understands my ways and suggested we go to the Melting Pot for dinner instead of "clubbing". Thank GOD! We had a wonderful evening filled with laughter and fun. Michelle even got an AWESOME feather gift that i'm sure she will wear all the time! jk. Can't wait for the BIG DAY on June 27th.
